CANNES INNOVATION LIONS - THIS IS A TREE

In June 2019, I represented TBWA\SMP at the Cannes Lions Festival of Ideas. Together with Boysen Vice President, Johnson Ongking, we presented the campaign, “This is a Tree” in front of a live jury and audience.

This is a Tree features Boysen KNOxOUT which is a smog-eating paint that absorbs as much nitrogen oxide as one mature tree. Using this, one-square-meter artworks were painted along one of Manila’s busiest and treeless highways. To date, 6000 square meters of the city’s walls have been painted with Boysen KNOxOUT.

The entry went on to win a Bronze Lion for Innovation.
